» Pre­amble

The 26th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­cer­en­ce 2023 takes place on­line and on-site: On 10 & 11 March 2023, the con­fer­en­ce will be held at the Rhein­Main Con­gress Cen­ter in Wies­baden and will be par­tially broad­cas­ted on­line via live-stream. All speaches, streamed as well as only on-site, will be ac­cess­able on de­mand for all par­ti­cipants after the con­fer­en­ce. On Sunday, 12 March 2023, we of­fer build­ing tours to Pass­ive House pro­jects on-site in Wies­baden and its sur­round­ings. On Thursday, 09 March 2923, Work­shops will take place.

All events or­gan­ized in or around Wies­baden as parts of the 26th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce 2023 will be car­ried out only if of­fi­cial or­ders re­gard­ing dis­ease con­trol meas­ures and lim­it­a­tions due to in­fec­tion oc­curences are not op­posed to a safe and prop­er ex­e­cu­tion of the event.

» Tick­et pur­chase

There are two types of tick­ets: De­pend­ing on which you choose, you can either at­tend the con­fer­en­ce on­line only or take part on­line and on-site in Wies­baden. The tick­et pur­chase must be sub­mit­ted via the on­line tick­et shop. By buy­ing a tick­et, a con­tract with the or­gan­ising body is agreed upon. The or­gan­ising body and con­tract­ing party is the Passivhaus In­sti­tut GmbH, Rhein­str. 44/46, D-64283 Darm­stadt, Ger­many.

The tick­et pur­chase is bind­ing and will be pro­cessed in the or­der in which they are re­ceived. The num­ber of par­ti­cipants is lim­ited, on­line as well as on-site. After the tick­et pur­chase and the im­me­di­ate pay­ment via the ser­vices offered, an in­voice will be is­sued, which will be sent to you by email and can be down­loaded in the on­line tick­et shop. Con­fer­en­ce tick­ets can - as long as there are still seats avail­able - be pur­chased in the on­line tick­et shop un­til 01 March 2023 for now. The early book­ing dis­count can only be gran­ted if the re­gis­tra­tion is made be­fore 15 Janu­ary 2023 (ex­ten­ded un­til 22 Janu­ary 2023) and pay­ment is com­pleted by 15 Janu­ary 2023 (ex­ten­ded un­til 22 Janu­ary 2023). Only those who have paid the full ap­plic­able fees ac­cord­ing to the se­lec­ted tick­et will be ad­mit­ted to the con­fer­en­ce.

» Can­cel­la­tions

Can­cel­la­tions are pos­sible un­til 15 Feb­ru­ary 2023 and are sub­ject to a fee of 4% of the tick­et price to be­ paid to the or­gan­ising body in the on­line tick­et shop. Fees which may be charged by the pay­ment ser­vice pro­vider will be re­tained by the or­gan­ising body. All can­cel­la­tions after 16 Feb­ru­ary 2023 will in­cur a fee equal to 50% of the cor­res­pond­ing con­fer­en­ce tick­et. From 03 March 2023 no can­cel­la­tions are pos­sible and the full par­ti­cip­a­tion fee for all tick­ets pur­chased is due, but re­place­ment par­ti­cipants can be named.

The con­fer­en­ce tick­et and all con­fer­en­ce ad­mis­sion doc­u­ments are not-trans­fer­able. All of­fers made avail­able can only be used by par­ti­cipants of the con­fer­en­ce with a val­id con­fer­en­ce tick­et us­ing the cor­res­pond­ing per­son­al e-mail ad­dress.

» Ser­vices

Scope of ser­vices: Con­fer­en­ce tick­et with par­ti­cip­a­tion in the con­fer­en­ce on­line only:
A per­son­al on­line ac­cess to all di­git­al live events (ex­cept ex­clus­ive on-site of­fers in Wies­baden) of the 26th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce (se­lec­ted Ger­man lec­tures will be trans­lated in­to Eng­lish), ac­cess to the re­cord­ings of the in­di­vidu­al lec­ture videos in ori­gin­al lan­guage (avail­able after the con­fer­en­ce from mid March) and to the ac­com­pa­ny­ing Pass­ive House Trade Ex­hib­i­tion, the con­fer­en­ce pro­ceed­ings, provided as a PDF doc­u­ment, with the present­a­tions of the 26th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce as well as trans­la­tions of the Ger­man lec­tures in­to Eng­lish. 

Ad­di­tion­al scope of ser­vices: Con­fer­en­ce tick­et with par­ti­cip­a­tion in the con­fer­en­ce on­line and in Wies­baden:
Ac­cess to all present­a­tions of the 26th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce, which will take place at the Rhein­Main Con­gress Cen­ter in Wies­baden (se­lec­ted Ger­man present­a­tions will be trans­lated in­to Eng­lish), ac­cess to the rec­orad­ings af­ter­wards and to the ac­com­pa­ny­ing Pass­ive House trade ex­hib­i­tion on March 10 and 11, 2023. Ca­ter­ing dur­ing the event on March 10 and 11, 2023 (lunch, drinks, cof­fee and cake) is in­cluded. Tick­ets for the Even­ing Event on Fri­day, March 10, 2023 must be pur­chased sep­ar­ately.

The hy­giene and in­fec­tion pro­tec­tion reg­u­la­tions and safety reg­u­la­tions in force at the time of the event must be fol­lowed. Meas­ures to be fol­lowed ac­cord­ingly will be an­nounced in good time be­fore the start of the con­fer­en­ce and can be ad­ap­ted if ne­ces­sary.

» Can­cel­la­tion, lim­it­a­tion of li­ab­il­ity

The or­gan­izer re­serves the right to make ne­ces­sary changes to the pro­gram. If the 26th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce or the sup­port­ing pro­gram must be par­tially or com­pletely can­celled, im­me­di­ate no­ti­fic­a­tion will be made. Already paid tick­et fees will be re­fun­ded. Fur­ther claims against the or­gan­izer do not ap­ply.

In case of can­cel­la­tion of the on-site events with­in the frame­work of the 26th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce, cor­res­pond­ingly booked con­fer­en­ce tick­ets with par­ti­cip­a­tion in the con­fer­en­ce on­line and in Wies­baden will be re­booked to par­ti­cip­a­tion in the con­fer­en­ce on­line only. The dif­fer­en­ce will be re­fun­ded. Fur­ther claims against the or­gan­izer e.g. for a re­fund of already booked travel, ac­com­mod­a­tion or oth­er costs do not ap­ply.

» Data stor­age

For the pur­poses of par­ti­cipant ad­min­is­tra­tion, the data entered by par­ti­cipants in the ON­LINE Tick­et Shop when pur­chas­ing a con­fer­en­ce tick­et for the 26th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce and/or its sup­port­ing pro­gram will be pro­cessed by Passivhaus In­sti­tut GmbH and passed on to rami.io GmbH (Ven­ue­less) and ser­vice pro­viders com­mis­sioned by Passivhaus In­sti­tut GmbH with­in the frame­work of the con­fer­en­ce for the pur­pose of par­ti­cip­a­tion in the con­fer­en­ce pro­gram and the Pass­ive House trade ex­hib­i­tion. No fur­ther data will be passed on to third parties.
