» Pre­amble

The 28^th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce takes place at the "Haus der Tech­nik" in Es­sen on 24-25 April 2026. The present­a­tions will be ac­cess­able on de­mand for all par­ti­cipants after the con­fer­en­ce. Fur­ther­more, con­fer­en­ce at­tendees can vis­it the ac­com­pa­ny­ing Pass­ive House Ex­hib­i­tion in the same build­ing on 24 and 25 April 2026.

Ad­di­tion­al op­tions: On Sat­urday, 25 April 2026, the In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House As­so­ci­ation hosts the iPHA Din­ner which provides ample op­por­tun­it­ies for net­work­ing. Fur­ther­more, on Sunday, 26 April 2026, there will be build­ing tours to Pass­ive House pro­jects in Es­sen and the sur­round­ing area. On Wed­nes­day and Thursday, 22 and 23 April 2026, ad­di­tion­al work­shops will be held. Tick­ets for the ad­di­tion­al op­tions must be pur­chased sep­ar­ately.

All events or­gan­ised in or around Es­sen as part of the 28^th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce 2026 will be car­ried out only if of­fi­cial or­ders re­gard­ing dis­ease con­trol meas­ures and lim­it­a­tions due to in­fec­tion oc­curences do not pre­vent the ex­e­cu­tion of the event.

» Tick­et pur­chase

The tick­et pur­chase must be sub­mit­ted via the on­line tick­et shop. By buy­ing a tick­et, a con­tract with the or­gan­ising body is agreed upon. The or­gan­ising body and con­tract­ing party is the Passivhaus Institut GmbH, Rheinstraße 44/46, Darmstadt, Germany.

The tick­et pur­chase is bind­ing and will be pro­cessed in the or­der in which the pur­chases are re­ceived. The num­ber of par­ti­cipants is lim­ited. After the tick­et pur­chase and the im­me­di­ate pay­ment via the ser­vices offered, an in­voice will be is­sued which will be sent to the par­ti­cipant by email and can be down­loaded in the on­line tick­et shop. Con­fer­en­ce tick­ets can - as long as there are still seats avail­able - be pur­chased in the on­line tick­et shop un­til 12 April 2026. The early book­ing dis­count can only be gran­ted if the re­gis­tra­tion is made be­fore 31 Janu­ary 2026 and pay­ment is com­pleted by 31 Janu­ary 2026. Only those who have paid the full ap­plic­able fees ac­cord­ing to the se­lec­ted tick­et will be ad­mit­ted to the con­fer­en­ce.

» Can­cel­la­tions

Can­cel­la­tions are pos­sible un­til 31 Januar 2026 and are sub­ject to a fee of 10% of the tick­et price to be­ paid to the or­gan­ising body in the on­line tick­et shop. Fees which may be charged by the pay­ment ser­vice pro­vider will be re­tained by the or­gan­ising body. All can­cel­la­tions on or after 31 Janu­ary 2026 will in­cur a fee equal to 50% of the cor­res­pond­ing con­fer­en­ce tick­et. All can­cel­la­tions on or after 10 April 2026 will in­cur a fee equal to 80% of the cor­res­pond­ing con­fer­en­ce tick­et, but re­place­ment par­ti­cipants can be named free of charge.

The con­fer­en­ce tick­et and all con­fer­en­ce ad­mis­sion doc­u­ments are not-trans­fer­able unless this right is granted by the organising body. All of­fers made avail­able can only be used by par­ti­cipants of the con­fer­en­ce with a val­id con­fer­en­ce tick­et us­ing the cor­res­pond­ing per­son­al e-mail ad­dress.

» Scope of ser­vices

The con­fer­en­ce tick­et in­cludes ac­cess to all present­a­tions giv­en at the 28^th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce at the "Haus der Tech­nik" in Es­sen, tem­por­ary ac­cess to the on-de­mand ses­sion rec­ord­ings af­ter­ the event as well as free en­try to the ac­com­pa­ny­ing Pass­ive House trade ex­hib­i­tion. Ca­ter­ing dur­ing the event on 24-25 April 2026 (lunch, drinks, cof­fee/tea and snacks) is also in­cluded.

The hy­giene and in­fec­tion pro­tec­tion reg­u­la­tions and safety reg­u­la­tions in force at the time of the event must be fol­lowed. Meas­ures to be fol­lowed ac­cord­ingly will be an­nounced in good time be­fore the start of the con­fer­en­ce and can be ad­ap­ted if ne­ces­sary.

» Can­cel­la­tion, lim­it­a­tion of li­ab­il­ity

The or­gan­iser re­serves the right to make ne­ces­sary changes to the pro­gramme. If the 28^th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce or the sup­port­ing pro­gramme have to be par­tially or com­pletely can­celled, the par­ti­cipants will be im­me­di­ately no­ti­fied. Already paid tick­et fees will be re­fun­ded. Fur­ther claims against the or­gan­iser do not ap­ply.

» Data stor­age

For the pur­poses of par­ti­cipant ad­min­is­tra­tion, the data entered by par­ti­cipants in the on­line tick­et shop when pur­chas­ing a con­fer­en­ce tick­et for the 28^th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce and/or its sup­port­ing pro­gramme will be pro­cessed by the Passivhaus In­sti­tut GmbH as well as by ser­vice pro­viders com­mis­sioned by it with­in the frame­work of the con­fer­en­ce for the pur­pose of par­ti­cip­a­tion in the con­fer­en­ce and the Pass­ive House trade ex­hib­i­tion. No fur­ther data will be passed on to third parties.
